Frequently Asked Questions

How does the subscription work?
Head to the BOOK LESSONS section and select your chosen subscription. Your allocated tutor will then arrange a regular time slot with you for your lessons.

How do I pay for my lessons?
Payments are made via bank transfer/direct debit on the same day every month, subject to your subscription terms and conditions and will be payable for the duration of your subscription. The first payment must be made prior to your first lesson. You can also pay for your subscription as a one off up-front payment.

Why do I have twenty lessons over six months/forty lessons over twelve months?
By allocating twenty lessons over six months (or forty over twelve months) this allows our students to have a regular weekly lesson, but also gives flexibility to have weeks off when you have other commitments such as going on holiday.

Do you offer a discount if I sign up for a subscription?
Yes, we do! If you sign up for a twelve month subscription you will qualify for a ten per cent discount.

I’m not sure a subscription is for me. Can I still pay for one-off lessons?
Yes, you can! We understand that a monthly subscription isn’t for everyone, so we still offer our students the option to pay for their lessons as they go.

When do I have to pay?
All pay as you go lessons must be paid for at the time of booking by either bank transfer or card payment. Subscriptions are paid in advance, on a monthly basis.

What happens at the end of my subscription?
At the end of your subscription you can choose to remain on your current lesson package and continue receiving your discount (if applicable), change to a different lesson package, or switch to pay as you go lessons - this must be done 60 days prior to the expiry of your existing subscription.

What happens if I have to cancel one of my lessons?
We understand that our students sometimes need to cancel a lesson. Simply get in contact with your tutor, and we will rearrange the lesson for another time.  Please note that we require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel and rearrange a lesson. Any lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be deducted from your allocated lessons. Rearranged lessons may be with an alternative tutor, subject to availability. All lessons must be used within the period of your subscription. We are unable to ‘roll over’ lessons after your subscription period ends.

Trinity College, London - Bursaries
