By using this website or booking lessons with Chelmsford Music Academy, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Chelmsford Music Academy provides music tuition for children and adults of all ability levels, including lessons in:
- Guitar (electric, acoustic, classical, bass)
- Piano
- Drums
- Ukulele
- Music Theory
- Singing
2. Booking and Payment
- Lessons must be booked via the website or agreed with the Academy in advance.
- Payment is required before lessons commence, either via the website or as otherwise agreed.
- Lesson package subscribers - All payments must be made on the 1st of every month, or the prior agreed date of each month stated and signed below, for the full duration of your subscription period. First payment must be made prior to your first lesson.
- Fees are set out on the website or provided at the time of booking. All prices include VAT where applicable.
- We reserve the right to change lesson fees with prior notice.
- All lesson package subscribers are entitled to a 14 day cooling off period from the date of signing up for a subscription lesson package.
- If you cancel your subscription within the cooling off period, the cost of any lessons already taken will be deducted from any refund at the price rate indicated in your subscription package.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellations by Students (Lessons):
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- Late cancellations may result in full payment for the lesson.
- Renewals/Cancellations & Amendments by Students (Subcriptions):
- All renewals, cancellations, and amendments must be made at least 60 days in advance.
- Late cancellations will result in full payment for the remainder of the subscription.
- Cancellations by Chelmsford Music Academy:
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to tutor illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Students will be offered an alternative lesson or a full refund where rescheduling is not possible.
- Students and parents/guardians must ensure punctuality for lessons.
- Respectful behaviour towards tutors and other students is required. Chelmsford Music Academy reserves the right to terminate lessons in cases of unacceptable behaviour without refund.
- Students are responsible for bringing their instruments and necessary materials to lessons unless otherwise provided by the Academy.
6. Online Lessons
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

- Students must have access to the necessary hardware, software, and internet connection to participate in online lessons.
- Chelmsford Music Academy is not responsible for technical issues on the student’s side which prevent participation.
- All content on the website, including text, images, videos, and learning materials, is the property of Chelmsford Music Academy and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.
- Chelmsford Music Academy will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from lessons, including loss of enjoyment or opportunity.
- In-person lessons are conducted with appropriate care; however, students participate at their own risk.
- Personal information collected during bookings is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Data will only be used for administrative purposes, lesson delivery, and communication related to services.
